In my research activities, I mainly concentrate on three aspects:

Mobile systems

• SIRI, Alexa & Co.: Dialogues under natural conditions
• Intelligent dialogue strategies using prosodic language features and dialogue histories
• Emotions and user states
• Acoustic quality preservation in real (mobile) environments
• Influence of acoustic conditions on recognition performance

Mobile user

• Adaptation to changing users
• Getting to know a user
• Transfer-learning, synthetically generated data
• Semi-monitored annotations
• Individual dialogue semantics (discourse particles, feedback markers)
• User privacy due to imrpoved addressee detection

Mobile environment

• Advanced Driver Assistance Systems: Dialogue systems in the car
• Ambient Assisted Living
• Collaborative Human-Robot Interaction
• Interaction with unmanned aerial vehicles
